Sartorial Schizophrenia: CMA's 2016

Estimated Reading Time:
The Country Music Awards were held in Nashville, Tennessee on Tuesday night here in America. While we were given a wide range of outfits and looks, a few of the ladies seemed to have gotten a few of the same memos.

Here's a round-up of my favorites from the night.

Let's start with my absolute favourite, best dressed of the evening.
I think Carrie Underwood looked like a fairy tale princess in this outfit and letting her hair take a subdued natural route was the perfect way to balance the dress. It kept the outfit from getting too pageant-y.

My worst dressed for the evening. I understand that it is the Country Music Awards and Elle King was feeling the country vibes with the fringe and the short jacket but to me this outfit is unfortunately more circus than rodeo. The less I say the better.

Runner- ups

Memo #1: Thigh high slits, florals, deep V necks
                   center parted hair, low buns

Special Mention to Kimberly Schlapman for wearing a creation by our very own Gauri and Nainika!

Memo #2  that seemed to go around with the older ladies but one that I wish hadn't:

I'm not really understanding the shiny/brocade-y/leather-y/ sheer vibes these ladies are giving out.
Sharon Stone also got the memo but she hit it out of the ballpark.

Memo #3 :
Everyone made sure we got the point. Fall and dark vampy lips are here.

It is the Country Awards and we all know the south lives by the saying 'Go big or go home.' Sharon Stone and Kimberly Williams did just that.

Which looks were your favorites?
